Deep brick-ruby colour. White peppery, pristinely dark cherry-fruited aromas. Blood orange, iodine and fine dried earth – both deeply Sicilian and characterfully Syrah. The palate is light on its feet on the entry, very pretty and Cote-Rotie-like, with upbeat acidity making the dark cherry fruit dance. Chalky, gently grippy tannins add definition, whilst the palate remains medium-bodied, with Sicilian tangerine zest.
