How it works

  • virtual wine tasting

    Step 1

    The Wines

Once we know your budget, we can guide you in selecting the right wines for your audience. With wines from the Cote d’Or in Burgundy to Hawkes Bay in New Zealand, there is plenty to choose from!

  • virtual wine tasting

    Step 2

    Delivery

We require a list of attendees with their delivery address, contact number and email. These will be dealt with in a GDPR secure way.

We then send the wine directly to your attendees chosen addresses in advance of the tasting.

  • virtual wine tasting

    Step 3

    The Tasting

The Zoom link for the tasting is sent 24 hours in advance. You and your guests then join us for a fun and engaging tasting, with a wine Q&A afterwards.

You and your team can then stay on the call to socialise – the wine is already open!

FAQs

View All FAQs

  • Booking

    • How much notice do you need to book in advance of the tasting?

As much notice as possible is best to allow us to plan your tasting. We ask for 2 weeks’ notice as a minimum.
    • Can we pick a date for the tasting?

Yes, certainly! We ask for a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
    • How many attendees can we invite?

You can have up to 30 attendees and there is a minimum of 6 attendees. If you wish to have more than 30, please contact us to discuss this.
    • How long will the tasting last?

The tasting should be around 1 hour with the Q&A at the end. This then allows for plenty of time to socialise and network afterwards.
    • How do we send you the attendees’ details in a GDPR safe way?

We ask that you send us the attendees’ details in a password secure document for us to access safely. No information will ever be shared.
    • How do we pay for the tasting?

If you are not already a customer with Corney & Barrow, we will set up an account for you and send the invoice over for payment prior to delivery.
  • Wines

    • Can we pick the selection if we have specific wines in mind?

Yes, absolutely! These tastings are bespoke, so if there is a particular style of wine or region that you want to taste, let us know and we will make suitable suggestions that fit within your chosen package.
    • Can we have more than 3 wines?

You can, however we recommend 3 wines as the best number for a tasting so that you don’t end up with too many opened bottles and it allows for plenty of time for Q&A afterwards.
  • Delivery

    • Is there a delivery charge?

There is a £12.50 delivery charge for individual orders under £120. Delivery over £120 is free of charge.

    • When will the attendees receive their delivery?

Once we receive the attendees’ addresses, we will send the wines out to them on the next available delivery date. The wines will always arrive at latest the day before the tasting.
