Adèle and Elsa Matrot are now at the helm of this family-owned estate, having taken over from their highly respected father Thierry Matrot, who had made the wines here for over three decades. Indeed, Thierry is still very much present at the domaine, lending evidence to the theory that Burgundian vignerons never actually retire… Be that as it may, 2017 is Adèle and Elsa’s second vintage in charge. The domaine has been totally organic since 2000.
