"Dough, biscuit and apple crumble on the nose - much bigger than the Salon, side by side. Great length and a savoury finish emphasised by proud acid. The Salon 1999 is still youthful with clear ageing potential, whereas the Delamotte Blanc de Blancs NV is much more developed and expressive. And affordable. A good option to guzzle whilst resting the Salon on its cork for a few more years, perhaps." 16.5/20
