The Adventurer Case

For those of you just embarking on your personal wine journey, seeking to learn and venture further into this colourful, delicious world, join Odyssey Adventurer!
You'll receive a fresh case of 12 bottles every other month, two bottles each of six different wines. Each case is thoughtfully curated by our expert team, to take you on a new adventure. You'll find the selection both varied and complementary, taking into consideration the season, our wonderful British weather (!), and some favourite food pairings we hope you'll love.
You'll also be the first to taste some of our new releases. Previous cases have included a succulent Moscatel from Chile's deep south, a classically tailored Bordeaux, and a Pinot Noir from Romania's rolling hills.
The Explorer Case
£240 per case (£120 pcm)
Are you a wine fan already? Want to explore further and broaden your horizons? Or perhaps you're looking to impress friends and family with your eclectic wine collection and knowledge? Then consider the Explorer case!
You'll receive a fresh mixed case of 12 bottles every other month, 2 bottles each of 6 different wines. Each selection is carefully curated; a unique collection of wines of different origins and styles, excellent examples from some of the world's finest vineyards and winemakers.
The case will also give you the opportunity to be among the first to try some brand new releases. Previous cases have included a crisp, fresh Sparkling from Sussex, a floral and elegant Tuscan rosé, and an example of the little known PaÃs grape from Chile’s Itata Valley.

Our mission with the Wine Odyssey is to take you on journey and we want it to be easy, for you to discover new things as well as learn a few things along the way. We do all that by carefully handpicking the wines from our wide portfolio to create a complementary and varied case for you to enjoy every other month. In addition to the bottles you’ll receive a tasting note and recipe for each wine plus a few other surprises…!
Our Heritage
In 1780, Edward Bland Corney opened his shop in London, offering a small selection of port, sherry, and Bordeaux. The business flourished, and in 1838, his son, Thomas introduced his cousin Robert Barrow to the trade. The Corney & Barrow name was born.
Today our offices have grown to the north of England, Scotland, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Still privately owned, 75% of our portfolio is exclusive to us meaning many of the wines you’ll receive in your subscription cases cannot be found elsewhere. Our range has grown to include examples of the highest quality from everyday drinking wines from across the globe to the heights of Petrus and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and it’s the fruit of these long standing, special relationships that you’ll find in your Odyssey cases.

Payment
How much will it cost me to join the C&B Odyssey journey?
You can choose from two different package options - The Adventurer case at £160 and The Explorer case at £240. Both cases are carefully curated by the Corney & Barrow team, and comprise 6 different wines; 2 bottles of each. The Adventurer case provides a perfect introduction to the world of wine, featuring benchmark examples of must-know classics, as well as exciting styles from up-and-coming regions, varieties, and producers. The Explorer will appeal to any wine lover looking to step things up a notch and push the boundaries.
Each case is a collection of exceptional wines, including limited edition examples from Corney & Barrow's exclusive little black book of top winemaking talent. Please note, that as each month’s case is made up in advance. we are unable to make any substitutions.
How can I pay for my case?
We will set up a Direct Debit, in order to take your regular payments. The first payment taken will be to the value of the full case. Thereafter, you will ave the flexibility to spread subsequent payments monthly, or every other month, as you wish. Please fill out this form and return it to us. Once this is completed, you will be contacted by a member of the team, who will confirm all the details of your subscription.

Are there age restrictions with the C&B Odyssey?
Yes, there absolutely are. All customers must be over the age of 18, and this offer is applicable to UK customers only.
Duration
How long does the subscription last for?
You’ll receive a fresh case of wines every other month. If there comes a time when you no longer wish to continue, or prefer to buy wines from Corney & Barrow in a different way, please just let us know, so that we can stop your subscription.
Cancellation
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Delivery
When will I receive my case?
Your C&B Odyssey case will be delivered in the third week of every other month. Your specific delivery day will depend on your postcode, and will be confirmed when you sign up.
Wines
Can I reorder any of the wines I really enjoyed from my delivery?
Of course! We’d love to help you order more of the wines you loved from your delivery! And while some of the wines you receive will be limited editions and may be unavailable, we'll do whatever we can to find a brilliant alternative.What do I do if I have an out of condition wine?
If your wine appears to be out of condition or faulty, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can arrange a replacement or refund.
Gifting
Can I purchase a C&B Odyssey case as a gift?
Absolutely. An Odyssey case will make a exceptional gift for a milestone birthday, a wedding or anniversary. We will send you a gift certificate to give to your chosen recipient. The certificate will provide special contact details and explain how to set up the subscription.

Can I subscribe to receive Red or White wines only in my Adventurer or Explorer case rather than the mixed case?
Certainly. Once we receive your completed form, we will contact you, and you can request to receive either red or white wines only.
Can I change my selection to a red, white, or mixed wine box during my wine journey?
You are welcome to adjust your selection at a later stage; however, please ensure you give us at least two months' notice.
