Graceful and fresh. Boutique producer Fraser Gallop Estate allow their concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon fruit to shine, deftly complemented in the blend by other classic Bordeaux grapes and framed by spicy oak.

Luxurious blackcurrant, black cherry and a delicate earthiness, with finely ground black pepper soar out of the glass. Top notes of rose petals, brimming with life… The palate is lithe, with a delightful arc of acidity holding the raspberry and blackberry fruit in a gratifying tension.

Dark cedary blackcurrant on the nose with a little gloss, brambly spice and liquorice. With time in the glass, it opens to reveal attractive red berry perfume. The palate has a fabulous sense of purity and immediacy on the entry – dark cherry and sweet redcurrant. Weight builds on the mid-palate, fleshing out and then being brought to heel by firm, fruit-coated tannins.

A perfect example of its type, this Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is well structured with rich fruit flavours.
