The AX Support Analyst will be responsible for managing the defined strategy for the business – Dynamics AX Design/Testing, Support, Integration, Training, Reporting and Project Management. Proactively working towards improving all elements of the business systems.

The Dynamics AX Support Analyst will be Responsible for ensuring maximum availability and performance of Dynamics AX, ensure any changes made to the IT infrastructure which impact on the AX system are identified and steps are taken to minimise the downtime.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide 1st / 2nd line Dynamics AX support.
  • Management of AX configuration and security.
  • Supporting the integration with C&B’s Website and 3rd party applications.
  • Using SQL standard tools to produce high quality business reports and data extracts.
  • Management of SQL databases and reporting cubes.
  • Working with heads of departments with training/documentation.
  • Capture and Project manage business requirements to develop/enhance the AX environment, working closely with the supplier.
  • Working with the Head of IT on providing recommendations and solutions for future enhancements to software/hardware. 
  • Management of fixes/patches/upgrades.
  • Provide support with any data migration activities. 
  • Creating/updating support documentation in line with the predefined formats.

 

Essentials:

  • Strong technical/functional Dynamics AX 2012 R3 knowledge, particularly Sales\Purchase ledger, Stock management and Warehousing
  • Experience in development/code change
  • MCSE SQL certifications (preferable)
  • Project Management
  • VMWARE experience

 

Microsoft – experience in Office365, Windows 10, SharePoint and Win Servers

The main duties are
• Provide valuations for customers who have wines stored with C&B and/or externally and who are wishing to sell
• Negotiate pricing and timing, manage customer expectations and initiate logistics if required
• Cellar visits, inspections & packing
• Condition photos and provenance assessments
• Bordeaux En Primeur Campaign – assist Head of Broking in all aspects – Buying, offering and managing including post campaign reconciliations

SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER/SHIPPING CO-ORDINATOR

The main duties are
• Establishing demand and ordering stock from Europe and Deep Sea suppliers
• Track and Trace Purchase Orders from wine suppliers to C&B warehouse
• Manage vintage changeovers and slow moving stock processes
• Order and ship En Primeur wines
• Place and track direct orders for delivery to various customers worldwide

The role requires previous demand planning, forecasting and shipping experience. A French speaker is essential. Excellent admin, organisational, IT skills (particularly Excel) attention to detail, good communicator both internally and externally, focused on customer service.

 


STOCK CONTROL CO-ORDINATOR

Based at 1 Thomas More Street, London E1W

5 days per week office based role


The main duties are
• Manage the inbound delivery and collection process of customer owned stock from other UK Merchants
• Land stock onto the AX system
• Book to Book reconciliations
• Obtain valuations/invoices for wines purchased from UK wine merchants other than C&B
• Deal with stock related queries
• Liaise with 3rd party warehouses
• Raise, amend & receipt transfers, return orders, uplifts and purchase orders
• Maintain transactional records
• Assist Customer Reserves Co-Ordinator
• Provide cover for colleagues in export during holidays etc

Whilst previous experience and knowledge of ERP systems will be highly beneficial, the team are prepared to take on and train a new colleague without such experience – perhaps a University Graduate – who is keen and enthusiastic to learn, is a good communicator, has an analytical and numeric turn of mind, can demonstrate excellent attention to detail and knows how to effectively use Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

 


FINE WINE BUYING ASSISTANT (80% OF ROLE) / FINE WINE SALES SUPPORT (20% OF ROLE)

The main duties are:-
• Supporting the Fine Wine Buying team with their day to day management & administration of FW producers and their wines
• Assisting a Fine Wine Buyer, who is also a senior Fine Wine Sales Exec, to support, administratively, his FW sales activities, including liaising with customers and processing orders
• Communicating with producers/suppliers
• Maintaining technical sheets (fiches) and web content (producer pages)
• Record keeping for drinking dates, tasting notes
• Organising and co-ordinating internal and external tastings
• Prospecting – support the FW Buyers in researching and developing new agencies
• Support the FW Buyers in the C&B Offers process
• Organise Buying trips, customer visits to producers and producer visits to the UK
• Maintain allocation/customer spend/customer order history
• Liaise with Merchanting Buying Team, Marketing and Sales Teams

The role requires previous wine buying assistant experience and – at least – good conversational French. Italian and Spanish would also be advantageous. Preferably, but not necessarily essentially, qualifications to WSET Level 3. Skilled organiser with attention to detail, strong IT (especially Excel & Pivot Tables), numerate, good communicator, strong administrator, able to work independently and proactively as well as team collaborator, enthusiastic, diplomatic and an excellent ambassador for C&B with producers.
