Estancia Los Cardones is a 25-hectare vineyard 1,800 meters above sea level in the remote wine region of Salta, a mountainous desert in north-west Argentina. Originally planted in 2009, the terroir is uncompromising; combining high-altitude, intense sunshine, freezing Andean nights and stony soils. Yet the vines yield luscious, elegant wines with fruit concentration, mineral length and a savoury hint.
Grown at such a height, Malbec delivers a distinctive profile - wild dark fruit, savoury character and remarkable freshness.
"A juicy, dark and fresh Malbec from the hostile, high-altitude of Salta, in the northwestern corner of Argentina.

Argentina is one of the world’s most exciting wine-producing countries. Important both in quantity and in the quality and style of its wines, Argentina has much to tempt wine consumers of all palates and pockets. Its juicy, soft-textured, everyday-drinking wines made from European varieties such as Chardonnay, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are widely consumed both in Argentina and abroad.
