The nose makes its entrance with aplomb, revealing an abundance of sweet black and red fruit, driven and impeccably focused. The palate is supple and luscious, perfumed and silken, with barely perceptible tannins. There is density and intensity - slightly obscured by the ebullience of the fruit. On the charm offensive, this is simply delicious.
"This is only the second vintage to be given the go-ahead to be named Barolo by Roberto. Since purchasing the property in 2008, his Nebbiolo was declassified and sold as Langhe Nebbiolo as he really wanted to get to grips with the vineyard before launching."
