Founded in the mid-1800s by Clemente Santi, the Biondi Santi estate in Montalcino is regarded as one of Tuscany’s most prized viticultural treasures. Clemente was renowned for his scientific knowledge and studies which informed his approach to winemaking, enabling him to produce some of the first red wines that were suited to extended cellar ageing.
