This Barrail du Blanc 2014 offers a sweet, earthy ripe perfume of red fruits, a supple, generous structure, lovely density and delicate fruit to the finish. This vintage suited the wine perfectly and a grand cru on your table at around £15 fully loaded is a snip. Go for it.
"We love this wine. It comes from the lighter sandier soil of Saint-Suplice de Faleyrens and always wears its heart on its sleeve with a forward but nicely dense quality that nevertheless ages well."
