Garsington Opera

About

Garsington Opera is known for its performances of great artistic quality in a setting of extraordinary natural beauty. Performances take place in the spectacular Opera Pavilion, which sits within the rolling landscape of the Chiltern Hills, less than an hour from London on the Wormsley Estate, home of the Getty family.

The festival presents a programme of four operas each year during a seven-week summer period alongside a year-round Learning and Participation programme that engages with the diverse local community helping to demystify the wonderful and varied genre of opera for those who would not normally have access to it.
