Hine's Early Landed Grande Champagne Cognac 1987 was landed in 1990 and bottled in 2004 by Corney & Barrow. It was purchased in its orginal case and is a rare cognac only available in limited quantities. Hine is renowned for having been one of the first cognac houses to start making such rarities as vintage cognac available to discerning drinkers worldwide, and at the beginning of the 19th century it started to ship cognac in cask to British connoisseurs.
"Sumptuous honeyed aromas announce a gentle sweetness, giving way to the flavours of an English breakfast: orange marmalade and fresh gingerbread, buoyed by delicate notes of toasted bread."

French Wine
France is without doubt the world’s supreme wine-producing country, unmatched for the finesse, style and sheer diversity of its wines. France’s revered wine regions form a roll of honour beyond compare. The enduring appeal of France’s classic wine styles turns on the peculiarly French – and often controversial – concept of terroir, the belief in wine with a ‘sense of place’, with flavours and textures.
