Deeply coloured, this offers intense, sweet, primary fruit - attractively focused with a remarkable intensity borne, in part, of adversity. Ravaged by hail in May, production was decimated but the result is a small quantity of succulent, elegant, poised wine with tremendous charm. Brambles and cassis to the fore are complemented by fine minerality - very attractive balance.Estimated arrival time in UK of Bordeaux 2009 en primeur wines: Spring 2012
