La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is more conventional in that it is sourced from the young vines on the property of La Mission Haut Brion. Other than the age of the vines however (and the parcels are vinified separately), the wine’s elevage is the same as that of the Grand Vin and in a usual year Cabernet Sauvignon The grape varieties in a usual vintage are 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45 % Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc
