"The second wine of Mouton Rothschild. 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. A discreet, ripe dark-berried nose with violets, bitter chocolate and cedar. The palate is measured, slowly revealing elegant blackberry and dark spices, framed by firm, grippy tannins. Harvested between 7th and 30th September. 50% new oak. 13.3% abv.Â
