Verlieu-Chavanay is a small village 50 km south of Lyon, and is the place where André Perret practises the art of wine-making. Located on the right bank of the river Rhône and thus enjoying the best climate of the appellation, the Estate is now about 13 hectares wide. The vine-covered hills produce the grapes for the Côtes du Rhône vintages.
"This Saint-Joseph wine, with a deep red colour and ruby glints, has a fruity aroma. Cherry and raspberry flavours blend to give an excellent taste, tannins are present but silky.
