"82% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc. Elegant, dark-berried aromas, with very pure, immediate raspberry perfume above. The palate is fine, airy and elegant, with beautifully refined tannins, coming to a clipped, driving finish. Two thirds of the production is in the grand vin. “We are back to traditional Bordeaux with 2023, finally”, in the words of Alexandre Thienpont. Cropped at 43hl/ha. Harvested between 18th and 29th September. 14% abv. This will get 18-22 months’ élevage.
