This is a stony 0.4 hectare plot of 65 year-old vines in the centre of the village, just below Champans. Half of the vines have just come back into production and so are five years old. The first vintage was 2017. The name is thought to come from ronce, meaning blackberry. Ronceret is perhaps the most accessible of the premiers crus and tends to be the first vineyard picked, thanks in part to the reflected heat from the stones in the vineyard.
"A floral, delicate style, with intense dark fruit and lifted, playful acidity. 30% new oak was used. 2,639 bottles were produced."
