Ets. J-P Moueix, run today by Christian Moeuix and his son Edouard, has done more to put the key appellations of St. Emilion and Pomerol at the forefront of people's minds than perhaps anyone else in Bordeaux. They are consistently responsible for some of the finest Right Bank wines in any vintage, produced at their flagship estates; the likes of Trotanoy, Hosanna and La Fleur-Petrus in Pomerol and Magdelaine and latterly Belair-Monange in St-Emilion. It is now 12 years since Corney & Barrow first started working exclusively with the exquisite Burgundian Domaine, Bonneau du Martray, over which time we have seen it reach extra-ordinary levels of quality and demand. The Domaine is unique in Burgundy for producing solely Grand Cru wines; one white, Corton Charlemagne and one red, Corton. Jean-Charles le Bault de la Morinière, co-owner and winemaker, is making a rare trip to London to host this very special wine dinner. We do hope you can join us.
