Our Corney & Barrow Brut Jubilee Cuvée 1952 was especially launched to celebrate this unprecedented anniversary. Working closely with Peter Hall of the renowned sparkling wine estate Breaky Bottom in the South Downs, we have created this limited edition, fittingly of 1,952 bottles, honouring the year Her Majesty ascended the throne. Only a few bottles left.
Our Jubilee Cuvée 1952 is a supreme example of ‘traditional method’ sparkling wine from one of England’s greatest wine producers. It comes from the 2014 harvest, considered an outstanding vintage in the UK. Aged for an impressive seven years on the lees, it is a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, grown on ancient soils of pure chalk.
"Heady with the scent of an English country garden, it is elegant and refreshing with its exceptional purity of fruit, fine mousse and notes of warm brioche.

Breaky Bottom Cuvee Cornelis Hendriksen Brut Traditional Method 2013
It is thought that the Romans first introduced vines to England, however due to a combination of poor climate and the strong trading links with France and Italy (leading to a ready supply of wine), wine-making never really took off. Fast forward a few centuries and wine making is now a burgeoning industry because of improved wine making techniques and climate change.
