The aim of the ‘Buscado Vivo o Muerto’ range is to produce fine wines from the best vineyard sites across the Uco Valley in Mendoza. Mavericks, Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach, led a tireless search to discover a variety of terroirs and microclimates. From the southernmost tip of ‘Las Pareditas’ and its ancient volcanic soils, to ‘Gualtallary’ high in the Andean foothills of the north with its chalk-rich terroir.
93% Chardonnay, 5% Semillon, 2% Chenin Blanc, co-planted and co-fermented, deliver a round and plump wine with mineral freshness. Its light waxy texture combines orange blossom and nuttiness with bright acidity and a long chalky finish. Only 1,800 bottles were made.
"A Chardonnay dominant field blend from 55-year-old vines grown in the volcanic soils of 'Las Pareditas'. Plump, mineral and fresh.

“A fascinating unoaked co-ferment of Chardonnay with Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Riesling and Sauvignon Vert created by Alejandro Sejanovich. From a cool southern Uco sub-region, this field blend shows pithy brightness with notes of apple and lime leaf, a waxy richness, and savoury layers of wet stone and camomile.”
