Deep, ruby red colour. The wine is 'fat', spicy and darkly fruited with a palate that is plumply weighted, quite rich even, with a nice, grainy quality to the tannins to balance the weight. Good intensity to the finish. This wine divided opinion among the team but then that is always a sign of
interest.
