Corney & Barrow Partners with Scottish Ballet

We believe ‘Life Rewards the Curious’ and this year we’ll continue to support the Arts through a new partnership with Scottish Ballet, taking up the role of official wine sponsor.

Scottish Ballet are a touring company, staging events world-wide.  Now their audiences will be able to enjoy wine which reflects the same dedication to excellence, quality and innovation as the team behind the performances they’ve come to watch.

Founded by Peter Darrell and Elizabeth West as Western Theatre Ballet Company in Bristol in 1957, the company moved to Glasgow in 1969 and was changed to Scottish Ballet in 1974. The primary aim is to provide programmes of world class dance performance and educational activities at all scales.

Scottish Ballet company will be touring both the UK and Asia over the coming months and at every performance all VIP guests and sponsors will be drinking Corney & Barrow wines as well as learning about the story behind the bottle.

Valerie Lindsay (Head of Marketing at C&B) said:
“We are so excited to have formed this partnership. It is the perfect pairing for our ongoing campaign of ‘Life Rewards the Curious’ and will give new audiences a chance to taste and discover some of our amazing wines.”

Kirsten Cockburn (Head of Sponsorship at Scottish Ballet) said
“We are thrilled to be working with Corney & Barrow. One of the oldest and highly regarded Wine Merchants in the UK and with offices in Asia, we have every confidence that our guests will be drinking wines sourced from the very best vineyards.”

Tickets for performances can be booked via the Scottish Ballet website
