<p>81% Sauvignon Blanc, 19% Semillon. This is the highest level of Sauvignon used in Haut-Brion Blanc to date. White fruits and very pretty orange blossom and grassy perfume on the nose. Substantially proportioned, with a nod to the tropical on the palate – grapefruit, orange rind and honeyed notes beside the seated stone-fruit. Phenomenal power, given shape by a pleasing phenolic tension. A driving, confident finish. Picked 27th August to 5th September</p>
"55% Sémillon, 45% Sauvignon Blanc. High acidity level meant could pick at leisure. More cedary spice here compared to La Mission Blanc. The palate is juicy and delactable, peachy and apricot, even with some tropical pineapple and green melon. Dried extract too.
