<p>81% Sauvignon Blanc, 19% Semillon. This is the highest level of Sauvignon used in Haut-Brion Blanc to date. White fruits and very pretty orange blossom and grassy perfume on the nose. Substantially proportioned, with a nod to the tropical on the palate – grapefruit, orange rind and honeyed notes beside the seated stone-fruit. Phenomenal power, given shape by a pleasing phenolic tension. A driving, confident finish. Picked 27th August to 5th September</p>
"51% Sémillon, 49% Sauvignon Blanc. White peach, lemon rind and cedary spice, with a whiff of struck match. Great density and cohesive focus. This is a success in the context of a tricky vintage for whites – would love a bit more acidity. 14.2% abv.
