Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 20% new. Aromas of ripe white peach, apricot and cedar – super classical. The palate has profound, almost chewable stone-fruit, with a touch of honeysuckle, making for a substantial wine of presence and – thanks to its beautiful arc of acidity – succulence. This hits the sweet spot between definition and enjoyment, exactly as it intends to. Superlative Californian Chardonnay.
