This is a 0.92 hectare south-facing walled
vineyard, planted with 70+ year-old untrellised vines. Arid soils of hard granite and sand, with rocks and no topsoil. A nose of great purity, intense dark berry aromas, sweet spices and pepper. The palate is powerful, framed by imposing tannins. 100% destemmed, with ageing in 228L oak barrels, with 10% new oak.
