This comes from the pretty, higher-elevation valley of Saint-Romain, in the hills above Meursault. Sous la Velle sits at around 370 metres above sea level, facing east. 2021 is the third vintage of this wine. The altitude, combined with the freshness of the 2021 vintage, makes for a wine of clipped energy and focus.
