Bright yellow flowers and apricot aromas, with nettles and a hint of mushroom on the nose. The palate offers tarte au citron and caramelised apple, the honeyed richness balanced against nervy, tensile acidity. A complex wine which will offer top quality drinking for decades to come. So finely wrought – very impressive.
